Bad Company 2 Onslaught DLC Hands On - Battlefield's Upcoming Co-Op DLC

"Down in the bottom of the screen sits a clock, which happily ticks away and provides a constant visual reminder of how your real enemy is time. Your team’s performance is judged entirely on how long it takes to capture the points, and while there’s the option to play the game as a casual shooting gallery, the long-term appeal indubitably comes from setting a high-score so brilliant it’ll have everyone else on your friends list seething with jealous rage.

A couple of factors stop me from recommending it to everyone. Firstly there’s the matter of price, and while EA haven’t announced anything official, I’d say anything above 800 points is probably pushing it a bit.

The second is whether or not you’ve actually got mates playing the game. Onslaught is a blast for a group of players still in the throes of excitement for Bad Company 2, but it’s unlikely to trigger a glorious renaissance in anyone who’s already hung up their defibrillator paddles and moved on.

Still, anything that lets you swagger around feeling like Schwarzenegger can’t be bad."

To see the LONGER original post click here. This new dlc and the game look outstanding. The graphics are amazing and the game play is just none stop fun. I would recommend any of the battle Fields to anyone since its just a delight to play. This game does require a fast Internet connection to play since if you lag you wont be able to hit any of the enemies.

"In order to get your trailer to qualify as "very Call of Duty," it must satisfy all of the following requirements:

It must have explosions. And by explosions, we mean 3 within 2 seconds of one another.
It must have a narrator who spouts really powerful pieces of theory... using it as an excuse to blatantly shoot people in the face.
Rappelling is a must. Combine it with guns and death for added impact.
At least one stealth kill is required.
It can't be classed "very Call of Duty" unless there is at least one vehicle crash, preferably a chopper.
More recently, but not a massively important requirement: space flights - or high-altitude flights - are becoming cool and mysterious.... like when you lose a sock in the washing machine.
It must also, on the face of it, not tell you much about the game. But upon closer inspection, you should be able to find out the main character's mental history and underwear status from clues within the trailer.
Oh, that reminds us... there is a new Call of Duty: Black Ops trailer out! It's all gameplay as well. Oh, and it also has an exploding crossbow! Eat that Rambo!"

To see the original post and the trailer click here. When you see this trailer is prety amazing but yet all the call of duty trailers have been really good. From the trailer that graphics seem to really have inproved from trey archs latest game call of duty: world at war. I think that its very interesting that they picked vietnam for a game this time. Theres not alot of games out there that focus on vietnam.

X360A Review: Skate 3

"Grab your boards skate fans, EA and Black Box's sequel to the now yearly and aptly named skateboarding franchise, Skate, is now in stores around the world.

Why am I telling you this you ask? Why because it's my more-than-once-a-week-random-waffletastic-segue that I've now spent years perfecting where I come in with convoluted anecdotes and random non sequiturs just so I can introduce a review.

In short, I get to come in here and write an absolute bunch of codswallop, and then go...

Read the definitive Skate 3 review here.

See... works like a charm."

To see the orignal article click here. I think that skate 3 will be a very good game. since skate 1 and 2 are actually one of the funnest skate games that i have ever played. I would recomend this game to anyone that likes of has liked any type of skateboarding game EVER MADE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IM FIRING MY LASER..... BRAAAHHH

Modern Warfare 2 'Resurgence Pack' Detailed in Rob Bowling Interview

"It's the Stimulus Package all over again, as the forthcoming Modern Warfare 2 'Resurgence Pack', available from June 3rd, will retail for the same price and feature the same ratio of old maps to new ones.

So, that's three new maps and two classics - Vacant and Strike from CoD4 - joining the growing list of MW2 multiplayer maps. The new maps are called Fuel, Trailer Park and Carnival making up the five map 'Resurgence Pack', which will retail for 1200 Microsoft Points as predicted.

To buy or not buy... That is the question. Can you bear to part with another 1200 points for more multiplayer maps? You can listen to the interview with Infinity Ward's Rob Bowling for more on the MW2 'Resurgence Pack' over on Major Nelson's blog, and make your mind up."

to see the original post click here. I am a sucker for ativisions map packs so i will be buying this when i comes out. But i still think hes kinda of weird that they are releasing it near the release date of treyarch's new development.

Fable III May Feature A Wide Assortment of Wildlife

""The lack of animals in the Fable franchise is always something that has bothered me," Lionhead's Lead Artist, John McCormack, told Beauty of Games.

"The problem is trying to convince an entire animation/AI team to spend their resources away from things like combat, cutscenes, expressions, gestures, simulation etc and work on the new badger we’ve just built," he jokes. "As you can imagine, the priority drops somewhat for these things and often don’t make the final cut."

That all may change in Fable III though the Lead Artist told the site.

"In Fable III, so far we’ve built bats, crows, rabbits, ducks, robins, vultures, lizards, rats, butterflies, moths, insect swarms, dogs, fireflies, geese and we even started on a cow... whether or not these will make it into the final game is anyone's guess at this point."

It was all going swimmingly until that last sentence. He's right though, Fable does need more wildlife and local fauna, if only because kicking chickens gets old quite quickly and we'd much rather kick a... cow? Yes, a cow.

Although, that being said, we're hoping that we get to see some cow-tipping action in Fable III. Oh boy, I've just opened up the biggest can of worms...
"

To see this post click here. haha i think this new idea for fable III is going to open up alot of new ideas and other things. Ive always liked wild life in games and some for hunting or even just for fun to watch and see how they react to you or their environment around them. Its very interesting to see them eat and stir if you make suddon movements. For example in far cry 2 You can be just driving around the desert landscape and suddunly a zebra jumps in front of your car or you see a heard of water bufalo and you can go up to the and watch or kill them if that is what you desire.

Halo: Reach Invasion Impressions & Gameplay

"On Friday, the Halo: Reach beta expanded its horizons and added a new map and a new playlist into the mix. We put the new Invasion mode through its paces this weekend to see what all the fuss was about.

Invasion – which is billed as Halo's take on Battlefield’s Rush game type – pits a team of 6 Spartans against 6 Elites in a multi-staged objective based game. With the Spartans on defence, the Elites must push forward and gain a territory, before doing so again deeper into the map and then carrying a core to a nearby Covenant Cruiser to win. Each team starts the round with a limited amount of load outs and as the game progresses, the more options each team gets, including a wide range of vehicles.

While the mode itself is relatively fun, it's not without its shortcomings, although thankfully it's the simple stuff that can be easily rectified before the game’s official launch. Things like, why is it only one round? Why don't you swap sides at the end and take it in turns? Why are the Spartan's starting weapons vastly superior to the Elite's? Why did Bungie change the vehicle handling for the Warthogs and the Banshees? And why is it all over so bloody quickly?

It comes to something when an Invasion Slayer match can last twice as long its namesake. Invasion Slayer incidentally is a neat variation of Team Slayer on Boneyard with a moving territory to capture that spawns power weapons and vehicles. It’s actually more appealing to play than Invasion currently is.

Invasion as it stands is definitely an interesting game type on a fairly expansive map and one that's quite enjoyable, although it does have its flaws. If Bungie make it multiple rounds and tweak the load out balance, then it could become a welcome addition to the Halo universe, but at the moment, you can definitely tell that this is more of an experiment than a foregone conclusion.

For those that aren't on the beta, we've captured a bit of HD footage to give you a better idea of what to expect."

Second Modern Warfare 2 Map Pack To Drop Late 2010

"Following the release of the 5 map Stimulus Package for Modern Warfare 2, Activision is planning to launch another set of maps in the second half of this year.

The confirmation came during a financial earnings call, wherein Acti executive, Thomas Tippl declared that the tail end of 2010 will see the release of both Call of Duty: Black Ops developed by Treyarch and the as yet unnamed map pack expansion, which will be made by Infinity Ward.

There are currently no details offered on what the map pack will include, but expect it to follow in a similar vein to the squillion-selling Stimulus Package.

And although there's also no confirmation on pricing yet either, 1200 Microsoft Points might also be a safe bet as Tippl stated, "The $15 price point has still provided a fantastic value to gamers... we think that has worked."

Oh, it worked all right. Maybe the next pack will cost even more than the last one at this rate. Stay tuned."

To see this post click here. I think this is not a smart idea since the map pack comes out around the same time call of duty black ops does. Treyarch and Activison needs to talk to eachother and plan out there situation better.

Medal of Honor Deploying This October

EA annouced medal of honor =DDDD

"EA today announced that their upcoming shooter, Medal of Honor, which follows a group of Tier 1 Specialists in Afghanistan, will be hitting stores across North America and Europe on October 12th and October 15th respectively.

The news comes after Activison and Treyarch announced the Call of Duty: Black Ops release date last week, which incidentally is now scheduled for a November 9th release. EA must surely be happy to have the dominant window in the market, Activision will pretend they don't care.

Other than announce the date, the press release does little else to enlighten us further on the game, so we'll leave you with links to our Medal of Honor preview and interview with the Creative Director from EA's UK HQ recently."

Halo: Reach Multiplayer Beta Hands On Preview - Checks And Balances

So today the beta is released and x360a.com talks about it

"Later on in the day tomorrow, the Halo: Reach multiplayer beta will finally get unlocked for ODST owners around the world and the internet will be lit up with anyone and everyone’s opinions. While you’ve been absorbing as much Halo: Reach footage as you can on YouTube for the last few days, we’ve been knee deep in Covenant carcases and teenage angst, trying to get as much hands on time with the beta as possible so we can deliver our second impressions before it drops. While Rich’s hands-on preview explored the modes and the experience of the Halo: Reach multiplayer beta, I’ll be getting my hands dirty and talking about the nitty-gritty – the classes and weapon balance."

Great post =D
